Success has broad, dark green, white ribbed, savoyed leaves with short, broad white stems. It is tolerant of both cold and hot conditions thus making it resistant to bolting at an early stage. It will grow to 40-45cm tall. It is suitable for whole plant harvesting. All of the parts of this plant are edible. It is an easy vegetable to grow in the home garden and is high in vitamins and minerals. Silverbeet is well suited to all climates, although it is best to avoid sowing in very hot and frosty times. Soak the seeds for a few hours before sowing, as they only absorb water slowly. Sow 12mm deep in drills 30-40cm apart firm, down the soil and and cover lightly with mulch. Any loose mulch will do. Keep the seeds damp with light watering until the seedlings emerge. (approx. 2 weeks). Have a year round supply with 2 or 3 sowings between Spring & Autumn. QTY 1.00 g approx 50 seeds
