The plant grows vigorously, matures quickly and produces lots of heads. The entire plant, bar the roots can be eaten. The young stalks and flowers are very tender and excellent for stir-fries. They can be eaten raw and only need very light cooking for best results. They are all great with a garlic sauce no matter how they are cooked. The seeds can be sown anywhere in Australia at any time of the year but this variety has been especially selected for planting in cooler conditions. They mature within 4-5 weeks. Plant seeds 0.5-1.0 cm deep, 5-10cm apart and thin for cooking as they grow larger. For a continuous supply plant in succession as they mature very quickly.
