It makes an excellent groundcover and planted under a tree on the sunny side it will attract cats away from the other parts of the garden. It is a stalwart of the cottage garden and attracts bees and other pollinators to the garden. Plant the seeds shallowly indoors in cold areas about a month prior to the last frost and transplant into the garden when established. It grows to 30 cm and should be spaced 35-45 cm apart.
