This is a very tall variety, prone to lodging, so staking or fencing of the plants is essential.
Soak the seeds for 2-4 hrs. in a dilute seaweed solution which will help to speed up germination.
Direct sow into your garden about 3-5cm deep
and about 15-20cm apart
in rows 20-40cm apart
or 15-20cm apart in all directions across a wide bed.
In cold areas plant all year round except for maybe Jan-Feb.
In Temperate areas plant from Mar-Oct.
In subtropical and Tropical areas from Mar-Jun.
Plant into damp soil and do not water again until leaves appear.
